今日は札幌のNomapsが開催するセミナーに参加 no-maps.jp 参加者は北海道大学の寳金総長と黒岩教授、サツドラの富山社長、株式会社マドラーの成田代表。 主に今後の北海道の未来に向けた大学、人材のあり方を主に語ったセッションであった。 タイトルに「えぞ財団」入団記念とあるように、北大も法人会員として「えぞ財団」に参加したのだろう。

所感

北海道大学を含めて日本の大学は若者人口の減少により、少なからず影響を受けている。 若者人口の低減は先進国では共通の課題であるから、若者の取り合いになっているのは事実であろう。 日本の大学に入る方、日本に来てくれる留学生の方は本当にありがたい。 大学としては、入学してくれた方をその大学の地域で、卒業生が面白いと思ってくれる仕事との繋ぎを行う重要な役割が出てきている。 それが次の世代への評判となる。大学間連携、産学官金連携で突破していくのが近道ではないかと考える。
